A special screening of the The Inconvienent Sequel: Truth to Power is being held at the Park City Library on Wednesday, October 11 at 7 pm. This free event is presented in conjunction with Utah Climate Week (October 8-14).

The film was released in August of this year, more than a decade after its well-known predecessor, An Inconvenient Truth. The original documentary brought the topic of climate change into the mainstream as Vice President Al Gore fought to make the public aware of the issue. The sequel, directed by Bonni Cohen and Jon Shenk, follows Gore as he travels around the world with the mission to influence international climate policy and train a new generation of climate champions. Cameras follow him behind the scenes in moments both private and public, funny and poignant as he pursues the inspirational idea that while the stakes have never been higher, the perils of climate change can be overcome with human ingenuity and passion.

The Inconvenient Sequel is just over an hour and a half long, with a Q & A session following the presentation of the documentary. The screening is presented in collaboration with Park City Film Series, Sundance Institute and Park City Municipal Corp.
