TAYLORSVILLE BUS STATION ART DESIGN

MOUNTAINLAND TECHNICAL COLLEGE

UMOCA BLUFFDALE MURAL

The Utah Museum of Contemporary Art, in partnership with Smith's, is commissioning a large-scale indoor mural for a new Smith's location in Bluffdale, Utah. Budget: $10,000. Apply here.

The residency program is open to visual artists, writers, composers, choreographers, interdisciplinary artists, performance artists, and collaborative teams. The National Endowment for the Arts and the Poetry Foundation have partnered with the Utah Arts & Museums Arts Education Program to support Poetry Out Loud, which encourages Utah’s youth to learn about great poetry through memorization and performance. Learn more here.

UCROSS NATIVE AMERICAN FELLOWSHIP

Fellowship

Two Ucross Fellowships for Native American Writers are awarded each year. Those selected for the fellowship are offered a four-week residency, a stipend of $2,000, and an opportunity to present work publicly. More here

Residencies

SkopArt, an American owned and operated artist studio located on the gorgeous Greek island of Skopelos is offering artists residencies for 2023. The studio is equipped for ceramists, mixed-media artists, painters, printmakers and sculptors. The Houston Center for Contemporary Craft is a nonprofit arts organization founded to advance education about the process, product, and history of craft. HCCC is inviting applications for its Artist Residency Program. The program supports emerging, mid-career, and established artists working in clay, fiber, glass, metal, wood, and mixed media. Through the residency, artists receive an opportunity to gain exposure, make connections with the community in Houston, and help educate the public about craft. Up to ten residencies — which include a 200-sq.-ft. studio, a $1K monthly stipend & a small, quarterly housing/materials allowance — will be awarded. More here.

As part of its ongoing mission, Annex:art works with international artists to coordinate self-funded and sponsored artist residency, as well as interim studio programs.  These programs are designed to enable the artist an opportunity to complete a project or specific body of work in one of our participating annex locations.
