First Picks of the Season // Art Elevated Holiday Market

Art Elevated, an art and handcrafted gift market featuring local artists and artisans, returns the weekend of Nov. 3-5 at Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter in Park City’s Newpark Town Center. The three-day event kickoffs the holiday season with one-of-a-kind gifts and festivities including live performances, demos, and a special wine tasting event.

“Art Elevated showcases some of the many talented artists in Summit County and offers the community a wonderful creative experience to begin the countdown to the holidays,” said Hadley Dynak, Executive Director of the Park City Summit County Arts Council. “Create a day of it and bring your friends and family to enjoy not just the visual arts but also a mix of sounds and demonstrations all while getting the first picks on beautiful gifts.”

Art Elevated features 20 artists selling their creative endeavours including paintings, photographs, books, jewelry, ceramics, fabric, textiles and sculpture. The boutique will also host a number of artists’ demonstrations and performances throughout the weekend including a ticketed wine tasting event presented by Fox School of Wine on Friday, Nov. 3 from 4-8 p.m. While Art Elevated is free and open to the public, tickets for the wine tasting are $17 and can be purchased by visiting www.FoxSchoolofWine.com. Space is limited; however, tickets for the wine tasting will also be available at the door.

The Park City Summit County Arts Council and Swaner Preserve teamed up with the Park City Professional Artists Association to present the annual holiday gathering. This year, Art Elevated is the first market of the holiday season! Join us in support of the local creative community and enjoy great entertainment while getting the first picks on beautiful one of a kind gifts.  For more information, visit pcscarts.org/art-elevated-2017.
