Art on the Trails | Combining Artful Experiences with the Beauty of our Natural Surroundings, Aug. 24 3-6pm

Art on Trails Social Post no date.jpg

Art on the Trails is a program that connects art and nature, and celebrates our local performing arts sector. It’s designed to promote local performing artists and musicians, making their work more visible to our community, as well as provide an accessible platform for our community to connect with high caliber performances that are integrated into our natural surroundings.

This program is presented by the PCSC Arts Council in partnership with Basin Recreation and is made possible with the support of our sponsors and partners NordicTrack and Copper Moose Farm Stand.

“Through Art on the Trails, the Arts Council aims to connect more closely with residents, visitors, and the resort community to showcase local talent and to celebrate art and nature -- two integral components of Park City’s culture” states Jocelyn Scudder, Managing Director of the PCSC Arts Council.

Enjoy pop-up creative performances along McLeod Creek Trail between Copper Moose Farm Stand and Temple Har Shalom in Park City. Performances include hip hop dance, ballet, spoken word poetry, jazz music, acoustic guitar, and more. This event is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome.

Tours will leave every 20 minutes starting at 3pm until 5pm. Each tour will be lead on a leisurely hike by a tour guide to 7 site-specific locations along McLeod Creek Trail. This is an easy, flat, shaded gravel trail that’s accessible to all ability levels, and is about 1.5 miles round trip. Walking leisurely, it will take groups an estimated 1.5 hours to complete the Art on the Trails experience round trip. Don’t forget sunscreen and comfy shoes. There will be water stations along the trail.

After your tour, stay to enjoy the lounge at the Copper Moose Farm Stand. There will be food and refreshments for purchase until 6pm, with live music playing at the farm stand until 7pm.

The event will be held on Saturday, August 24th from 3-6pm. Tours begin at the Copper Moose Farm Stand starting at 3pm. For more info, go here. Please help us plan in advance by registering for your preferred tour time, here. Walk-ups are also welcome, based on availability.
