The Arts Council of Park City & Summit County is excited to announce the 2020 Brand PC Pop-Up Shop this holiday season from December 11th to December 31st at 544 Main St. BRAND PC originated in 2016 and was created by the Arts Council to spotlight local creative brands—their products and their stories. This year’s three week activation serves to support our creative community and show our appreciation for the makers and creative risk takers in Summit County.

Speaking to the spirit of the event, Jocelyn Scudder, Arts Council Executive Director explains that “BRAND PC is a celebration of the power of community, the power of buying local, and the power of our local visionaries that contribute to the vibrancy of our local mountain towns. We acknowledge that being an entrepreneur takes guts and hard work—and especially during these unprecedented times it takes resiliency and ingenuity. BRAND PC Pop-Up Shop is a platform to showcase the creative, entrepreneurial spirit of our local creative entrepreneurs, their products, and an opportunity for people to support and shop local this holiday season.”

Since its foundation, there has been a tremendous increase in interest and engagement from the creative entrepreneurial sector. The first year, the program represented just over 20 brands. There has been an increase in demand for this type of event, and in 2020 we are proud to represent nearly 40 local brands and their products. These creative entrepreneurs have either started their endeavors in, or are now based in Summit County, UT.

"I am super grateful to the Arts Council for creating a platform for local creative brands that provides an amazing opportunity to sell our products that we wouldn't have otherwise, ” said local maker Sharon Backurz, founder and designer of Zenzee, “The connections, the friendships and the camaraderie that is experienced as a participant in BRAND PC is incredible. We all feel like we belong to a wonderful family of brands and makers.”

As of now, makers participating in the BRAND PC Pop-Up Shop this year include: Zenzee, House Forty Eight, Michael McRae, Lylo Design, Happy Dragon Designs, Faded Cloth, Motherlode, Mahout, Cade & Co., Dottie Small, The Chicks Co., Uncharted Supply Co., Waves of Stone Pottery, Mountain Aesthete, Ritual Chocolate, Threadheads, RSB Designs, Cat Tongue Grips, Linda McCausland, PCPAA Ornaments, Alabaster and Stone, Tulips & Thyme, Shine Deck, Mountain Body Products, Anna Leigh Moore, Mark Maziarz, Karen Millar Kendall, Rhonda Hypio, Alpine Distilling, Top Shelf, Fair Sage, Park City Publishing, Jennifer Gardner, Red Flower Studios, with more to come!

This year's pop-up shop at 544 Main St. will be kept at 25% capacity and we'll be doing our part to stay safe, sanitary and respectful at all times. Masks will be required to enter BRAND PC. We'll also be offering private shopping experiences Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 6 to 8pm, that you'll be able to reserve in advance for you and a few of your friends and family.
