Calling all Creatives: Park Silly Sunday Market Accepting Vendor Applications for the 2018 Season
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to quit your day job and turn your creative ideas into a feasible business that could support you and your family? Maybe you’ve always wanted to figure out how you could offset the costs of your addiction to creating art or clothing, crafts, gardening, or even gourmet food.
If you are a creative type, or if you’re just looking to see if your idea for a business is actually workable, it’s time for you to apply to the Park Silly Sunday Market and see if your idea will fly. Some of our past vendors have experimented with their ideas over the summer and they now have established businesses that started out at the market such as Sammy’s Bistro, Freshie’s, Red Bicycle Bread Works, My Liquid Garden, Melty Way, Boom Dog Creations and Soul Poles to name a few.
The Park Silly Sunday Market is celebrating its 12th year of operation this summer. We are an open-air, eco-friendly, community event founded by Kimberly Kuehn featuring vendors, musicians, buskers, farmers, food, adult beverages, kids activities, and more. Last year we hosted 178,000 visitors and we are the perfect venue for established entrepreneurs or for people who want to try out new ideas. People come to historic Main Street to have fun, and tourists and locals alike love supporting art, beauty, and culture at the Park Silly Market all summer.
The deadline for on-site food vendors and jewelers has closed, but we are accepting all other types of vendor applications on a first come, first served basis until we sell out in mid-April. You can apply by clicking here: https://www.parksillysundaymarket.com/apply/vendors-silly-market. You can choose to apply for one Sunday or all 14 of them. But whatever you do, don’t delay because all of our spots will be sold by April. For More information, please contact Kate at kate@parksillysundaymarket.com.
