Catch the Shumway Family at Our Next Pop-Up Performance
Start your week off on the right foot with our next Art Piano pop-up performance! We’re excited to see you on Monday. July 10th at the Skybridge Lounge at Newpark Hotel at 4pm! Our performers this time are the Shumway Family: Emily Day-Shumway on the violin, Kevin Shumway on the cello, and Soren Shumway on the piano.
They will be playing Piano Trio Opus 100 by Schubert, Libertango by Piazzolla, Shape of My Heart by Sting, Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven, and lots more so don’t miss out!

Emily Day-Shumway is Associate Concertmaster of the Ballet West Orchestra. She graduated from The Manhattan School of Music. Emily is a busy freelance violinist who performs with the Utah Symphony, Utah Chamber Artists, and in the recording studios around Utah, while also maintaining a private teaching studio. She and her husband Kevin Shumway are the proud parents of 3 sons.
Kevin Shumway is a member of the Utah Symphony cello section. He studied with Hans Jensen at Northwestern University and with Stephen Geber at the Cleveland Institute of Music. He coaches orchestral and chamber music at the Gifted Music School.
Soren Shumway is a piano student of Emily Day-Shumway. He attends the Salt Lake Arts Academy. Soren enjoys playing popular and classical music, and has performed in recitals and churches.
