Connecting Through Art This Summer

Enjoy the beautiful weekend weather and support Park City and Summit County this Saturday, May 30th at the latest Chalk Your Walk Event!

The community has so enjoyed the bright messages of positivity and resilience drawn on hiking and biking trails these past months. Now, join together to welcome summer and create pieces of public art. 

Chalk will be available for pick up this Saturday, May 30th from 2-3pm at 4207 Cinder Ct. Spend the afternoon (3-5pm) outside, transforming your driveway and sidewalk with drawings and messages of joy, togetherness, and sunshine. Post photos of your masterpiece using the hashtags: #chalkyourwalksummitcounty and tag @pcarts, @summitcountyut, and @parkcitygovt. 

Next, gather together from 5-6pm, bring your own favorite beverage, and explore the art your neighbors have created. Walk your Chalk/Yappy Hour is a perfect opportunity to meet new neighbors, too. 

Finally, Chalk Your Walk will conclude with a Door 2 Door Concert Series featuring Lumberjack Fabulous, arranged by Mountain Town Music. Mountain Town Music brings the music to you, and their Door 2 Door events have been a staple of the community throughout the uncertainty of the last few months. Lumberjack Fabulous, a duo that plays selections from the last four decades, is sure to create a memorable concert for you and your family. Gather responsibly in Cinder Ct from 6-8pm, and bring your own food, drink, chairs, blankets, and games. 

Enjoy a night “out” and support your Park City and Summit County with your beautiful chalk art and donations to local nonprofits. See you there!
