Experience the Escape: The 2019 Deer Valley Music Festival
Utah Symphony | Utah Opera has been hosting the Deer Valley Music Festival for more than 15 years. The Deer Valley Music Festival strives to consistently deliver a high quality and musically diverse experience in casual settings of unparalleled natural beauty.
The festival boasts an extensive variety of artists and performances each year. The opportunity to sit outside under the stars and picnic during the concerts at the Snow Park Amphitheater have proven appealing to growing audiences over the festival’s 15-year run. Attendance during the 2017 festival exceeded 40,000, and this year will be the festival’s longest to date with 14 concerts at Snow Park Amphitheater, five chamber concerts at St. Mary’s and various pop-up performances around the county.
The theme for this year’s festival is “Escape Into The Music,” and the goal of the festival is just that - to escape. Escape to another century and listen to the music of Beethoven, Mozart and Tchaikovsky. Escape into the world of pop culture by celebrating Disney, E.T. and America in Space. Escape reality just for a moment and embrace the power of music. This year’s lineup also includes famous artists such as Marie Osmond, Renée Elise Goldsberry and Kristen Chenoweth.
In addition to the scheduled festival, Utah Symphony | Utah Opera also hosts pop-up events and concerts to thank Summit County and Park City for their support. Their summer “pop-up concerts” serve as an opportunity to collaborate with local organizations to provide unexpected musical experiences that bring the essence of the festival into community events and spaces. Enhance your festival experience by participating in one or more of these opportunities. Click here for a full list of pop-up events.
Tickets are on sale right now for VIP, subscription (purchasing tickets to four or more concerts), and group (10+ tickets). Single tickets go on sale April 9 at 10 a.m.
