Local Art Exhibitions at the Park City Library
If you’re looking to enjoy more art through the colder seasons, head over to the Park City Library. The Park City Library continues to foster local art through its seasonal art exhibitions and is currently looking for entries for their next exhibition as well.
Exhibitions are chosen by a selection committee that considers multiple factors in choosing an exhibit including the quality of the works, the suitability for the Library’s physical space and the interests of the community.
Folks looking to apply should consider the submission deadline of December 1st and can apply here.
If you want to take a stroll through the current selection, the Fall Exhibit is up on display through November 27th and features the works of local photographers Mary Waterman and Rich Bullough.
Waterman’s exhibit is titled “Discovering Beauty in the Wasatch Back and Beyond” and features prints of the Park City and Heber areas among other locations. Waterman was particularly drawn to the scenic views of the ski resorts, Mount Timpanogos and its surrounding landscapes.
Bullough is a Utah native whose love for digital photography has followed him throughout his life. He enjoys photographing wild landscapes, agricultural lands & buildings and finds that conservation and history usually direct him to the places he photographs.
