The Mines & Wines tours feature rich history paired with spectacular wines. Tailored to enhance the learning of historic Park City mines.

Park City’s mining history is symbolic of the town’s heritage. What better way to learn more about it than to tour several mines while sipping wine? There are several stops at historic mining locations. Some of which include: Historic Main Street, Ontario Mine, Silver King Consolidated HQ, The Red-Light District and the Miner’s Hospital. The tours are two hours in duration. Using luxury transportation to explore several locations.

The tours are facilitated by headmistress and sommelier, Kirsten Fox. Fox selects an appropriate wine for each destination to tie everything together through story and history. She also provides knowledge on each wine served and its origins. “Many people who join on the tour are less focused on the wine and more on the area’s mining history and stories, but as the tour unfolds, curiosity to taste the wines usually wins.” Said, Fox. In addition, small bites are provided that also pair with the wines.

A great way for a group to connect with the Park City history and underlying culture.

"We've had guests join our tours who end up becoming great friends. Wine and stories are such fun connectors!" Said, Fox.

You can find more information at the Fox School of Wine on schedule and pricing.
