Second Annual Park City Nursery Plein Air “Paint Out.”

Gallery MAR and the Park City Nursery is excited to hold the second annual Park City Nursery Plein Air “Paint Out.” This festive and free event is for the Park City Community to experience participating artists painting in “open air” style. This event is free for artists wanting to participate as well. For the second year, Gallery MAR and the Park City Nursery are collaborating to bring this fun event to the Park City Community. Gallery MAR seeks to educate and inspire collectors while supporting and encouraging nationally touted artists.

The event will be Saturday, June 15 from 3-6pm. At around 2:30, artists will arrive at the nursery to set up their easels throughout the nursery. Guests and artists will be able to nibble on light bites, while enjoying drinks and live music.

Park City Nursery owner Sophy Kohler enjoys hosting the event, saying, “I love that (the Plein Air “Paint Out”) gives our community the chance to slow down and take in the nursery and artwork in a different way – the sounds, the breeze, the colors, etc. It’s a unique and social event where customers, neighbors, and art enthusiasts mingle and get to know the artists and the deep corners of the nursery property.”

At 5:30 pm, the artists will bring their finished paintings to the nursery boutique. The finished paintings will be displayed in the Boutique until 6:30 pm. All paintings are available for sale; guests who wish to purchase artwork should inquire directly with each artist.
