culinary delights
At Silver Star Café’s outdoor wraparound dining patio, you can soak in the 360-degree vistas. USA Today called it “Park City’s Best-Kept Dining Secret” and the locals agree.
At the Park City Farmer’s Market, you can enjoy a variety of fresh, organic, local produce as well as handmade bread, ice cream, and other foods – all in a great atmosphere. The market is very selective about the freshness and quality of its fare. No GMO food is allowed, and all farms are inspected before they can participate.
Wasatch Creamery sells artisan flavors of creamy, handmade ice cream. Plus, they only use clean, basic ingredients like milk, cream, sugar, and eggs, so you can feel good about indulging! Choose from over 40 flavors – everything from classics like chocolate and strawberry to more unique options like lime or basil.
High West Distillery is just east of Park City at Blue Sky Ranch. At this western ranch establishment, you can participate in a sensory tour of the distillery operation and learn about the whiskey-making process from grain-milling to mashing, distilling, and aging. After the tour, enjoy a chance to taste some of High West’s famous whiskeys and some western cuisine!
Stein Eriksen Lodge is named after the Norwegian Olympic gold medalist ski racer and a pillar in the community. The restaurant inside the lodge, Glitretind, has a gourmet menu featuring fresh seasonally inspired ingredients. Take advantage of outdoor seating and bask in stunning views of the surrounding Deer Valley Resort.
Savor the Summit kicks off the summer with Utah’s largest dinner party. Dozens of Park City’s best restaurants will serve their culinary specialties to diners – outdoors, in the middle of downtown’s charming Main Street. Indulge in everything from tapas to bread pudding, and of course, fine wine and cocktails. We all know that great food and drinks taste even better in summer mountain air (and with live music).
Harvest is an Australian favorite among residents with locally roasted coffee and all-natural, in-season cuisine. Harvest sources many ingredients from local farmers and small-scale producers to keep their meals fresh and to support the local economy.
At Five5eeds, you’ll find an American version of the Australian “brekkie,” or all-day breakfast joint. Their food is in-season and locally sourced, but still distinctly Australian.
Polar King is the place to go for a classic burger, fries, and a shake. With a retro feel, large portions, and a quintessential menu, Polar King is a great stop on a summer day. The decor even features scenes of the surrounding area by local artists and photographers. With both outdoor and indoor seating options, you can enjoy the surrounding vista – and your milkshake!
Old Town Cellars strives to make great wine affordable, welcoming, and fun! They embrace the outdoor lifestyle and sustainability and have crafted wines to match the surrounding mountain community. Whether you’ve spent the day mountain biking, golfing, or touring historic sites, Old Town Cellars has a wine to make you feel at home.
