CREATE PC is a pop-up artist studio and gallery focused on enabling local artists to make their work and sell their work in the same space. To learn more about the artists, visit here

Soul Poles

SKIING WITH SOUL

Soul Poles is a local organization that creates eco-friendly, customizable bamboo ski poles and walking sticks. Soul Poles was founded on the belief to deliver quality products that inspire momentous living while protecting the playgrounds we love.

BUSY BUILDERS

The Summit County Library Park City/Kimball Junction, Kamas and Coalville branches host LEGO Club & Challenge, where they provide the LEGOS and challenge and you can go and build! Duplos are available for younger builders and master architects can play with IKOS toys.

LEGO Club takes place at 1pm on Fridays at the Kimball Junction branch, 1888 W. Ute Blvd., and 3:30pm on Thursdays at the Kamas branch, 110 N. Main St. The Coalville branch at 82 North 50 East in Coalville has a Lego Challenge every Monday at 3pm.

GO FOR GLASS

At Red Flower Studios, you work with an experienced artisan to design and create a piece of handmade glass. With their help, you’ll color and shape a piece of molten glass into a unique piece of art.

Flowers By You

BRUSH UP ON YOUR BLOOMS

Flowers By You is a do-it-yourself floral and terrarium bar offering plants and materials priced by the stem so you can create your own arrangement to keep or gift.

Located at 6300 Sagewood Dr., Unit C from 11am-6pm Monday-Saturday.

Winter Arts Showcase

HIGH ALTITUDE ART

Winter Arts Showcase is a free art and craft market featuring a stunning collection of crafts and artwork from jewelry to sculpture – all by local artists and artisans. 

Located at the Park City Community Church at 4501 N. Hwy 224 from 10am-5pm February 15 & 16.

PC Silly Holiday Bazzar dog bones

TIS THE SEASON TO BE SILLY

The Park Silly Holiday Bazaar is a free indoor market full of holiday cheer. At this family-friendly event, artisan vendors sell everything from lotions to handmade boots to original art.

 Located at the Sheraton Park City. This holiday bazaar takes place every December.

Gingerbread World

Montage Deer Valley and Stein Eriksen Lodge Deer Valley take their cookie creations to the next level. During the holidays, they showcase a giant gingerbread creation, complete with frosting and candy decorations. These intricate creations involve hundreds of pounds of sugar and weeks to months of building. Talk about a holiday treat!

Montage is located at 9100 Marsac Ave. and the Stein Eriksen Lodge is at 7700 Stein Way.

Skullcandy, maker of innovative headphones, earbuds, gaming headsets, and speakers, global headquarters is headquartered in Park City.

Visit The Shop at Skullcandy at 6301 N. Landmark Dr. from 10am-6pm Monday-Friday.

Opal Ring in Box

ALL THAT GLITTERS

  • Melissa Skarsten designs and creates contemporary jewelry under her Jewelry by Melissa line. Her distinct style is inspired by memories of old-growth forests and subjects provided by nature. Melissa’s creations are available at the Kimball Art Center gift shop and through her website.  

  • RSB Designs showcases the whimsical and edgy designs of Park City based jewelry maker, Ron S. Butkovich. Ron delights in the use of traditional materials, including precious metals and stones, looking to the natural world for inspiration. Ron’s creations are available at his showroom located at 1101 Park Ave.

CRAFT MAKERS OF ALL KINDS

ARTique is a locally owned art gallery & gift shop in Kamas, UT. Operated as a co-op, the shop features a wide selection of handmade goods by local artists in Summit County featuring ceramics, fiber art, glass, jewelry, photography, and more. Artique’s “First Friday” openings showcase the works of a different local artist each month.

Located at 283 N. Main St. in Kamas from 11am-6pm Thursday-Sunday.

FAMILY FRIENDLY & FREE

  • The Coalville branch of Summit County Library offers “Story Time”, a fun hour for preschoolers centered on picture book stories with related activities, music and crafts.

    Located at 82 North 50 East in Coalville, UT. Storytime is every Wednesday at 1pm.

  • Park City Library offers “Crafternoons”, an hour-long session devoted to the joys of crafting. The event is open to the public, appropriate for all ages, and supplies are provided.

    Located at 1255 Park Ave. Crafternoons is every Wednesday at 4pm.

  • Kimball Art Center offers “Mornings at the Museum”. This program engages children aged 3-5 years old by touring the current exhibit at the museum and then creating an art project based on the exhibit. Participants require adult supervision.

    Located at 1401 Kearns Blvd. Mornings at the Museum is every Wednesday at 10:30am.

  • The Swaner Preserve & EcoCenter offers “Swaner’s Craft Sunday”, a nature-themed craft, appropriate for all ages.

    Located at 1258 Center Dr. Swaner’s Craft Sunday is every Sunday from 11am-1pm.

CREATE YOUR OWN MASTERPIECE

Join a creative session at The Paint Mixer or Paint Fusion PC to create your own work of art. Try painting on canvas or ceramics or fashioning fused glass art. Choose from ceramic or glass ornaments, holiday-themed plates or platters, mugs, custom ceramic boxes, animals, picture frames, and more. These make terrific gifts and mementos.

The Paint Mixer is located at 738 Main St. Reservations are recommended by calling (435) 604-0820 or online. Paint Fusion is located at 1635 Redstone Center Dr., Suite #115 and open from 10:30am-6pm Monday-Thursday, 10:30am-8pm Friday and Saturday and noon-6pm on Sunday.

CRAFTING OPPORTUNITIES

  • Kimball Art Center provides a central place for arts enthusiasts to explore the creative spark with a robust schedule of classes and workshops for all ages, abilities and mediums. 

    Located at 1401 Kearns Blvd. from 10am-5pm Monday-Friday and noon-5pm Saturday and Sunday.

  • Open Air Art Space is a collaborative studio that offers weekly art classes with one-on-one instruction. Students of all abilities are welcome and may select a class or bring in a self-directed project for guidance.

    Located at 3070 Rasmussen Rd., Suite 290 from noon-7pm. Classes are offered 1-4pm every Tuesday and Thursday.
