Call for Artists // Summit Arts Showcase 2019

Calling all Summit County artists!

The PCSC Arts Council is pleased to announce a Call for Artists for the 2019 Summit Arts Showcase, located at the Red Barn in Oakley, UT on July 12 & 13.

This event, hosted by the PCSC Arts Council, is an annual juried summer art show, the only one of its kind on the Eastern side of the County.  The PCSC Arts Council produces the annual Summit Arts Showcase to support local artists and provide an opportunity for them to present their work. Oakley's Red Barn, set against the Uinta mountain range, is a gorgeous setting to exhibit our local talent and for arts enthusiasts to come expose themselves to art and grow their collections.

“The Summit Arts Showcase is the only fine arts show on the Eastside of the County and is a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Bring your family for food trucks, live music, and of course amazing artwork created by local artisans.” Jocelyn Scudder, Director of the Park City Summit County Arts Council notes.

The event is scheduled for Friday, July 12 from 4-8pm, and Saturday, July 13 from 10am - 5pm. Each day will be filled with artistic entertainment including musical performances and live art demonstrations in addition to the art showcase.

The deadline to apply for Summit Arts Showcase is Friday, May 24. Artists working in any visual art medium are encouraged to apply. Space is limited, and preference is given to applicants from Summit County.

To apply, fill out the artist application here and send 3 images (jpg or png) to admin@pcscarts.org by the deadline. Artists will be selected by a jury of local artists and art enthusiasts from Summit County. All applicants will be notified about the status of their application by June 3.
