CREATE PC is back at 544 Main St.

CREATE PC, the Arts Council’s pop-up retail community gallery, recently opened up again at 544 Main St, next to Riverhorse! Come visit and shop local art, Monday through Wednesday 12pm to 6pm and Thursday through Saturday 12pm to 8pm at the new location.

CREATE PC was first launched  in the fall of 2019 at 660 Main Street to temporarily activate a dark storefront on Park City’s Main Street. When that temporary space became unavailable in July 2020, the Arts Council found an opportunity to move the CREATE PC pop-up gallery for another stint at 825 Main St. in the fall of 2020. Energized to maintain momentum and to find a new pop-up location to continue creative activations that support local artists, the Arts Council  connected with current host sponsor Vacasa Realestate who now their Main Street office space at 544 Main St. to host CREATE PC—a pop-up retail community gallery showcasing local  artists. CREATE PC officially opened Friday, February 12th. The fine art pop-up gallery is currently scheduled to run through the end of March.

For those not familiar with CREATE PC, it is a pop-up retail gallery space featuring Summit County, UT artists and places a strong focus on the creative and artistic process, providing a platform for local artists to sell work along with periodical live art making opportunities. There are more than 30 artists represented at CREATE PC, in addition to a curated selection of local creative products all featured in the pop-up space. CREATE PC also hosts a small workspace for participating artists to showcase their talents and create work periodically at the pop-up. The Arts Council also plans to participate in both the February and March Gallery Stroll events in partnership with the Park City Gallery Association.

As of now, artists participating in the CREATE PC pop-up gallery  this year include: Alix Railton, Len Starbeck, Scott Bantle, Mark Maziarz, Lisa Shine, Frances ReMillard, Anna Leigh Moore, Olga Hegner, Carol Granger, House Forty Eight, Emily Quinn Loughlin, Rhonda Hypio, Karen Millar Kendall, Art Coccaro, Lisa Nevot, 4 Silver Queens, Janet Beckham, Rabia Karatela, Nina Miller, Mitch Bedke, David Cornwell, Garth Franklin, David Wiener, Ida yoked, Bill Silliman, Mary Perry, Kris Hanaman, Richard Pick, Morgan Mullins, Sara Means, Eric Warner, Robert Johnson, Linda McCausland, Alisha Niswander of Threadheads, Naomi Doyle of Cade & Co., and Sharon Backurz of Zenzee.
