Egyptian Theater Will Host Young Frankenstein Nov. 3-19th

The Ziegfeld Theater company will produce a spooky season special for all theater lovers aged 13 and up: terrorize—er, patronize your local theater and catch the zany monster comedy adapted from the Mel Brooks film Young Frankenstein! The story begins with Frederick Frankenstein, grandson of the infamous Victor Frankenstein of Mary Shelley’s literary masterpiece, who inherits his ancestor’s Transylvanian estate. Along with lab assistants Igor and Inga, Frederick sets about bringing to life a creature as terrifying and strange as the one his grandfather once animated. As monsters are want to do in comedies, the creature escapes, and hilarious hijinks ensue.
