Kimball Art Center Explores the World of Glass
If you’re looking for an exciting and new way to create art, then look no further. Starting in March, the Kimball Art Center will be hosting new classes and artful afternoons for students to explore the art of glass fusion. Adults, teens and children will have the chance to experience glass as a unique medium. Each class explores specific types of glass creation such as mosaics, glass wall art, glass shadow boxes, and glass night lights!
Students will have the opportunity to explore color combinations and learn how to put together a creative puzzle of their own with small pieces of glass.
Heather Stamenov, Director of Education at the Kimball Art Center is thrilled to introduce these classes to students. “This is great for folks who already have an interest in glass fusion, but also for anyone looking to just dip their toes into art making,” said Stamenov.
Classes are scheduled to continue through the end of May. Head to the Kimball Art Center and spend an afternoon to delve into the skill of glass fusion! Check out the class offerings below. To view their entire repertoire of class offerings, visit their website at kimballartcenter.org.
