Rodrigo Y Gabriella Coming to the Deer Valley Music Festival

The Deer Valley Music Festival is known for consistently curating high quality and musically diverse line-ups in serene settings amongst the Wasatch Mountains. Many musicians have partnered with the Deer Valley Music Festival to provide exhilarating outdoor concerts, including the Utah Symphony and Utah Opera . The partnership between the these organizations offer pleasant cultural experiences in a gorgeous outdoor setting. 

Concerts are held in Snow Park Amphitheater at the base of the ski lifts at Deer Valley Resort. Four other chamber concerts are held in the St. Mary’s Church. Sitting under the stars and between the Wasatch Mountains during concerts have proven to appeal to people as attendance has exceeded 40,000.  

On the line-up this month is Rodrigo y Gabriela. It has been five years since this Mexican acoustic guitar rock duo last released an album and now they are ready to embark on their next chapter. The duo has been together twenty-years, and has recently released an album titled Mettavolution. Their newest album focuses on melodies, energies and beats inspired by a blend of metal, jazz and Hispanic roots. For those who are already fans, many can attest that the duo’s sound is unique and unmistakable. 

Rodrigo y Gabriela have undeniably established themselves as a duo that must be listened to and watched live. They have sold out at the Hollywood Bowl (two nights) and the Red Rock Amphitheater. Their musical chemistry on stage is not to be missed. Mark your calendars now!
