Empowering Artists as Entrepreneurs // Park City Foundry Program

It’s essential for artists to have entrepreneurial skills to thrive in any creative community. Park City Foundry, a local nonprofit community organization, provides opportunities for makers to connect and learn entrepreneurial skills to further themselves and their projects.

Building a business is one of the toughest things you will do in life. So why would you ever want to do it alone? Park City Foundry offers a support system around you. Our weekly collaboration sessions provide you with a tight knit team to trust and rely on during the good, the bad and the ugly times. At Foundry we treat eachother like the rockstar CEOs we all are. We talk about our progress, plans, problems, and priorities for the week allowing us to keep each other accountable and providing us with a feedback loop that big companies like Google use to reduce risk and spark innovation.

The Park City Foundry is now accepting applications for our new Entrepreneurial cohort - come join us for an info session this Monday, October 23rd at 5:30pm at 2750 Rasmussen Rd Suite 201 Park City, Utah 84098. Snacks provided, bring an entrepreneurial friend.  We have a one hour meeting once a week where folks work on their own idea for a business or passion project. It sounds simple, but really we're building your "get it done" muscle, helping you be more effective at everything you do., while you work on projects you love"  They'll learn about how to put together 90 day plans, track progress, plans, and problems, and meet others in the community with interesting projects.

This program is funded by a grant from the Economic Development Administration. We don’t take equity. We don’t provide funding. We just help you become an empowered entrepreneur.
