Everyone Can Write // Creative Aging Writing Workshops

Creative Aging Workshop

Debbie Leaman, a freelance writer and writing coach, is someone who is passionate about writing, aware of it's challenges, and wants to share her personal experiences to promote the benefits of writing to help others.

When approached with the topic of writing, many people say that they can't write. It's not for them. Debbie notes that "my experience as a freelance writer, writing coach, and developmental editor has taught me that everyone can write. Sometimes all we need is a little help."

Debbie's Creative Aging Workshops include full day of guided writing, reflection, and sharing in a supportive environment addressing how to delve deeper to explore what’s truly important in a later phase of life.

Debbie will be offering  "Listening to Your Inner Voice," a one-day Creative Aging writing workshop. “Writing can help us rediscover our purpose, provide perspective and give us the insight we need to move forward,” she says. “Now and again we just need a little encouragement and guidance to help us reveal what we’ve known all along.”

Listening to Your Inner Voice: A Path to Insight & Clarity - Temple Har Shalom, Park City, UT

  • Tuesday, July 10th (Full)
  • Tuesday, July 31st

In this workshop, participants will be encouraged to write what they're afraid to say out loud. What do those pesky inner voices say to you? What are you curious about and what, if anything, holds you back?

“The Creative Aging workshop opened me to a new consciousness,” said a prior workshop participant. “Debbie’s prompts allowed me to access a part of me that has been hidden and that I was unaware of until now. . . This is an amazing journey into self to find self.”

All writing levels are welcome and encouraged to register. It's non-denominational and open to everyone. The workshop is $50 and runs from 10:00am – 3:00pm.
