The Park City Museum’s annual holiday ornaments have long been a tradition for locals or anyone in search of a unique Park City memento. In the past, the ornaments featured a specific historic building but since 2019, the focus has broadened to include one of our beautiful local wildflowers and perhaps tell more of a story along with the historic scene.

Being skiers and hikers, she and husband Joe, love that Park City is a real town and not just a ski resort. “We also love that the international airport is so close for our frequent getaways,” explains Marianne. “Our two adult children are in LA and DC and so we chose somewhere in between they would appreciate visiting.”

Throughout his career he took photography classes and practiced his craft. “I have walked with gorillas in Rwanda, spent 12 days in The Serengeti, photographed brown bears at Katmai National Park in Alaska and stayed on Barter Island off Alaska for five days photographing polar bears from a 30 foot fishing boat. Recently, I have been taking many astro photography photos.”
