Art on the Trails is a program that connects art and nature, and celebrates our local performing arts sector. It’s designed to promote local performing artists, visual artists, and musicians, making their work more visible to our community, as well as provide an accessible platform for our community to connect with high caliber performances that are integrated into our natural surroundings.
Read MoreThe Kimball Art Center’s new home at the YARD in Park City is already being put to good use with their current exhibition titled, People of Corn / Gente de Maiz with Artist in Residence, Jorge Rojas. During his two month residency, Rojas has built upon his decade-long work of creating art that celebrates the spiritual significance of corn in cultures throughout the Americas. His exhibition is on display this summer from June 23rd to September 19th with free admission.

The performance will be free and open to the public featuring Summit County’s newest Art Piano for All, Abloom, by local artist Anna Leigh Moore. In addition to the demolition derby (always a locals favorite), the livestock showings, the 4H displays, parade, pie baking contest, and the little buckeroo rodeo, the Fair hosts the Fine Arts Show at the Ledges Event Center at the Coalville Fairgrounds which gives local artists the opportunity to share their creative work with the public. Admission to all Fair events is free and a full schedule of activities is available on the Fair website.
