Pandemania and Pandemania 2 have a run time of less than a minute but the time invested is incalculable. “It is impossible to add up the time spent building a set, creating the characters, knitting outfits for them and then shooting a scene. Even more time is spent in post production — touching up each frame, adding sound etc. It is time-consuming but I seem to be kind of obsessed with it. And I am completely self taught!”

Read MoreOne of Park City’s most beloved community events, the Monster Drawing Rally, has been postponed to the fall. But in an effort to support local artists and continue to inspire the community, organizers decided to host a similar virtual event on May 15th. Like the original Monster Draw, Monster Drawing Rally // Digital + Rewired will be a live art-making event that allows attendees to spy on the creative process. The ‘spying’ will take place via Zoom, while local artists create in their studios. Online attendees will still be able to purchase artwork for $50, and new this year, artists will have additional pieces available priced at their discretion.

This space served not only as a retail gallery and studio space for 13 local artists, but also as an artist collective that enabled artists opportunities to make work and sell work in the same space. When the gallery was forced to close in mid-March due to the impacts of COVID-19, the Arts Council took this roadblock as an opportunity to pivot and transition the retail gallery into an online platform.
